We’ve made the decision to convert every apartment to new-build standards for energy efficiency, so your new home will have an EPC rating of C or above (the highest available for Victorian properties), in line with Climate Change Committee guidance.
Meeting these standards not only means we’re making your home greener, snugger and less costly to heat. It also allows us to regenerate energy-sapping period properties for today’s eco-conscious homeowners.
How do we create Green Homes?
We focus on five main areas:
Insulation
However well you get on with your neighbours, our acoustic and thermal insulation means you’ll only hear from them when you want to!
Double glazing
We ensure double-glazed windows are installed throughout the property by our own FENSA approved installers.
A-rated combi boilers
A-rated condensing combi boilers feature in every apartment.
Smart thermostats
Your hot water and heating will be controlled by a Hive thermostat which learns your preferences and creates custom heating schedules.
Smart meters
Where possible, we arrange installation of smart meters for gas and electricity, so you’re energy efficient and in control when you move in.
